The Client

VAULT festival is London’s largest arts festival. Following our work at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, VAULT commissioned us to create a youthful brand identity and to rebuild their website from scratch.

The Brief

70% of VAULT’s ticket purchases are made by mobile so the website had to be mobile first. Working with the communications team at VAULT and marketing agency Joe Public, we then moved to developing a wide-ranging collateral campaign which highlighted the range of performances at the festival.

Combining flat texture shape elements with dual-light photographic treatments, the website and identity were well-received across the arts in London and has already helped increase VAULT’s sales on previous years. The site also embedded the Spektrix ticket sales plugin, and made use of various marketing and analytics plugins, which has helped VAULT get even bigger for 2019.

Website Redesign


We were also tasked with creating a navigable and attractive brochure for the festival’s 350 shows. While being accessible to a wide audience and easily understandable, it had to remain vibrant, youthful and on-trend. It also had to include a timetable of all of the shows, laid out so as to be useful for a reader.
