In October 2018, Crucible were approached by London based company Pint of Wine theatre to rebrand their company and upgrade their website.

They were, at the time, still using the logo and website that had been set up at the company’s formation years earlier, and wanted a brand and web package to reflect the professionalism of the work the company was now achieving.

The Challenge

The challenge for Pint of Wine was to create a brand package that was completely adaptable. The company’s work spans all genres, so the brand package needed to feel at home as much on a comedy as it would a tragedy, as it would a musical! After Crucible developed and presented a range of concepts they settled on a ‘modular frame’ approach – creating a series of assets and templates that could sit around and alongside any image or graphic.

The Results

After Crucible developed and presented a range of concepts, Pint of Wine settled on a ‘modular frame’ approach – creating a series of assets and templates that could sit around and alongside any image or graphic.

Translating this across their website, we were keen to ensure their identity was integrated, applied right across the digital space and at the centre of every single asset they produced.

In this vein, we created for them a set of frames, animated idents, website templates, poster and flyer templates, and advert artwork. We also built and developed their new website to be visual, dynamic, animated and responsive.
